Welcome on Board
Before setting sail on a sailing holiday, make sure to complete the necessary preparations.
it is important to ensure that all check-in requirements and procedures have been completed.
This includes presenting your original qualifications at the yacht base, as well as a valid VHF/SRC radio license if sailing in Croatia.
It is also crucial to check the validity of your skipper's license, as it can expire without you realizing it.
By completing the necessary check-in procedures, you can ensure a smooth start to your sailing adventure and avoid any unnecessary delays.
In addition to completing check-in procedures, it is important to understand the deposit and payment process. We require a security deposit, which is held on your credit card and is fully refundable upon the return of the boat. We also offer a damage waiver, which is non-refundable. It is recommended to take out deposit insurance 1-2 weeks before your boating trip.
Before leaving harbour on a charter boat, it is essential to perform a safety equipment check to ensure that all necessary items are on board and in good working order.
This includes items such as personal lifejacket, flares, fire extinguishers, and a first-aid kit. It is also important to make sure that these items are easily accessible in case of an emergency.
Following a pre-departure checklist help ensure that all required safety equipment is on board and in good condition.
